Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At Title I campuses, an associate degree, AA degree, 60 college credits, or Para Pro must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities and materials under teacher direction to include all special education students.
• Assists students with daily care needs to support learning, health, and independence.
• Confers with teachers/therapists to address student needs and directions.
• Provides small-group instructional support aligned with IEP goals and district benchmarks.
• Implements behavioral plans for students with behavioral needs as directed by the IEP team.
• Provides instructional materials as needed under supervision.
• Monitors student safety during routines and activities.
• Participates in data collection and reporting for the Direct Service Claiming program.
• Performs daily data recording and clerical tasks.

Education
