Wayzata Public Schools ISD 284 in Wayzata, MN is seeking a Kindergarten, Recess/Lunch and Instructional Paraprofessional to support K-5 students. The position is 4 hours per day, 8:30-12:30 on student contact days, with starting pay of $21.44 per hour, under the Administrative Professional and Paraprofessional Contract.

The paraprofessional will help create a safe, supportive classroom, supervise lunch and playground, and provide small group support and 1:1 student assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Proven multitasking and supervision in dynamic environments.
• Flexible, patient, collaborative team member who accepts feedback.
• Capable of providing 1:1 student support and small-group assistance.

Responsabilités

• Support K-5 students in the classroom, lunchroom and playground.
• Attend to safety and create a friendly learning environment.
• Supervise lunch, recess and daily activities with the team.
