Responsibilities

• Instructs and plans lessons per district curriculum goals.
• Creates conducive classroom environment and communicates clear objectives.
• Prepares for classes and documents preparation as required by contract.
• Assesses student progress and communicates with parents as needed.
• Maintains accurate records and complies with laws and policies.
• Diagnoses learning challenges and seeks district specialist assistance.
• Protects students, equipment, and facilities; follows conduct policies.
• Supervises paraprofessionals and writes evaluations.
• Engages in professional growth and district/professional evaluations.
• Attends district meetings and school activities; supports budget and curriculum decisions.
