Job summary

Restaurant Gwendolyn in San Antonio, TX is hiring two full-time line cooks at $16/hr to start. AM shift 9:00 AM–5:00 PM and PM shift 5:00 PM–12:00 AM; Sundays off.

Meals provided each shift; $20 shoe reimbursement; room for advancement as we expand to lead across three restaurants.

Duties include sauté, grill, ramen station, prep, cleaning, vendor orders, and organizing products for service in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Two full-time line cooks needed.
• AM and PM shifts available.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Work sauté station.
• Work grill station.
• Work ramen station (Ramen is essentially the control center).
• Prepping for service.
• Cleaning and deep cleaning as assigned by day.
• Receiving orders from vendors.
• Organize products and prep.

AM is appx 9A-5P,
PM is appx 5P-12A
Sundays off, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Mother’s Day off.
Meals provided every shift. $20 reimbursement for nonslip shoes.
Room for advancement (we have three restaurants, and are looking for one lead currently).

The other two restaurants are Il Forno Pizzeria and Tucker’s Italian.

Fast-paced kitchen. Duties include things like:

Working Sautee
Working Grill
Working Ramen Station ( Ramen is essentially the control center)
Prepping for service
Cleaning and deep cleaning divided by day of the week
Receiving orders from vendors
Organizing products and prep
