Job summary

Orbital Kitchens in Astoria, OR is seeking a line cook who thrives in a fast-paced, growing kitchen. You will set up stations, handle and rotate products, and prepare menu items in collaboration with the team to maintain quality and speed.

Shifts include PM and AM slots; the role rewards a self-starter attitude, strong multitasking, and willingness to grow within a close-knit team. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and prior NY restaurant experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years working in the food industry.
• Knife Skills.
• Bilingual In Spanish (Plus).
• Previous New York restaurant experience is plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Set up stations with all necessary supplies.
• Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
• Prepare menu items in cooperation with the greater kitchen.
• Flexibility to work within all stations.
• Experience in fry, griddle, garde manger, or expediter.
• Self-starter with the capacity to follow through on tasks.
• The ability to multitask at all points during your workday.
• Reports all operational needs and equipment or aspects of the kitchen in need of repair or improvement to management.
