Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Kilo Lab Technician to support start-up activities as manufacturing equipment comes into service at the Lilly Medicine Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana. You will become an expert in your area, collaborate with PTE scientists, engineers, and operations while traveling domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of direct manufacturing experience; GMP and/or chemical processing preferred.
• Demonstrated learning agility to operate new equipment and systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with solvents and large equipment.
• Experience in manufacturing, cGMP, or regulated environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to safety, quality, and environmental requirements and escalating adverse events.
• Operating processes and equipment per batch records and SOPs to meet the production schedule.
• Conducting lab or pilot plant experiments and maintaining notebooks.
• Dispensing materials and executing directions, including testing and scale-up.
• Completing daily monitoring, testing, and cleaning duties to keep equipment in good condition.
• Assembling and disassembling machinery for processing materials with strong mechanical skills.
• Contributing to site safety culture and compliant operations.
• Troubleshooting and responding to process upsets; escalating as needed.
• Following procedures for safety event reporting and documentation.
