Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous child care experience preferred.
• Professional, courteous and friendly.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
• Multilingual desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a group of children while leading and participating in program activities aligned with YMCA values.
• Models relationship-building with children and parents.
• Maintains clear communication within area of responsibility.
• Keeps group control and addresses situations with a positive attitude.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of the environment.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
• Follows YMCA policies including dress code and emergencies.
