Job summary

Michaels Brownsburg Store is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and execute in-store events, including kids’ birthday parties and craft classes. You will engage customers of all ages, teach activities, and handle checkout tasks while promoting our Rewards program and store services.

You will also support event logistics, restock and stock shelves, and collaborate with the team to ensure safety, cleanliness, and a positive guest experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with customers in a retail setting or service environment.
• Ability to handle multiple events and client communications simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once (e.g., children’s birthday parties and craft classes).
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants in crafts and activities; perform face painting.
• Coordinate add-ons (goody bags, balloons) to company standards.
• Assist customers, process checkouts, and promote Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
