The Michaels Companies is seeking an Event Coordinator in the Westwood, MA area to plan and execute kids parties, classes, and craft events within a Michaels store. You will engage guests of all ages, demonstrate craft activities, and coordinate add-ons such as balloons and goody bags to deliver a fun, stress-free experience.

You will assist customers, support checkout and rewards enrollment, and participate in omnichannel processes like BOPIS/SFS.

Formación

• Energetic, enthusiastic personality and ability to handle job stress.
• Experience with children and children's events.
• Excellent people skills and strong communication.
• Retail or customer service experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate craft events and children's parties.
• Instruct participants and provide activities such as face painting.
• Organize add-ons like goody bags and balloons.
• Assist customers with shopping and checkout; promote rewards and private label credit cards.
• Handle emails, calls, and paperwork; maintain store standards.
• Follow SOPs and safety standards; ensure cleanliness.
• Set up and break down events; manage backup plans.
