Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Weatherford, TX is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan and coordinate in-store events, including children's parties, and to deliver friendly customer service throughout the guest experience.

You will help customers shop, facilitate activities, and ensure safety and cleanliness during events. Key responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, communicating with clients and team members, handling administrative tasks, and promoting store programs while

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events (including children’s parties) within the Michaels store.
• Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun, engaging environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants in crafts and activities.
• Coordinate event add-ons (balloons, goody bags) per company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Handle emails, calls, and paperwork related to events.
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs.
• Ensure client satisfaction and maintain store cleanliness during events.
