Michaels in Overland Park, KS is seeking an energetic Events Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including children’s birthday parties, while delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience and expert customer service.

You will coordinate multiple activities, assist guests of all ages, and support merchandising, safety, and store operations. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a positive customer journey.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store, help locate products, and suggest solutions.
• Coordinate events and activities within the Michaels store, including children's parties.
• Assist with checkout and drive a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Support event setup, teardown, and post-event cleaning.
• Engage with customers about Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll new members.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restock merchandise, and support planogram activities.
• Follow SOPs and store policies; communicate with team and customers professionally.
