Sweet Apparel Inc. is seeking a Kids Footwear Designer to join SA Footwear and drive market-ready products through cross-functional collaboration. You will help guide seasonal collections, identify opportunities, and translate trends into compelling footwear across casual sneakers to heels.

You’ll sketch, develop tech packs, and coordinate with international teams while balancing multiple brands. Travel as needed, with a focus on detail and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 3-5 years of footwear design experience
• Technical ability and experience fit correcting shoes
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design aesthetics, technical knowledge and product storytelling
• Experience with footwear development process and working with international teams
• Comprehensive knowledge of footwear materials, construction components, manufacturing process and fit considerations
• Effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay strong attention to detail, and work within a team environment
• Knowledge of CAD systems to assist in ideation and creative process
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to interpret trends for mass market to meet business and strategic needs
• Ability to work and prioritize tasks and execute deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Sketch and create specs and tech packs for international manufacturing teams.
• Inspire new ideas and concepts to build a competitive product line aligned with brand objectives, quality components and trend concepts.
• Balance design across multiple footwear brands, maintaining aesthetics and consistency.
• Stay informed on current and future trends through design forecasting and market research.
• Collaborate with design to create seasonal moods (color palettes, prints, materials).
• Prepare sketch boards and trend boards for internal and external reviews.
• Communicate with international development teams and agents.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Detail/specify footwear collections through tech packs and specs.
• Assist in prototype corrections, commercialization and fit approvals; document notes for international teams.
• Maintain organized design room and manage development flow through operations.
• Support domestic and international shipments.
• Maintain keen eye for detail and color variations.
