Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Events Team Member in Rockville, MD to guide children through rocks, swim, crafts, and gym activities while incorporating nutrition education in a safe, fun environment for ages 3–13.

You will lead groups, demonstrate professionalism, and help promote events. A 1-year related experience and current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications are required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience.
• First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification for Infant/Child and Adult within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms, climb ladders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities with arts and crafts, singing, sports, and games while maintaining safety.
• Leads groups of up to 10 children aged 3–13 with a positive, outgoing attitude.
• Model courteous, professional behavior to customers and team members.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities to ensure safety.
• Promotes monthly events to increase participation and revenue.
• Monitors use of supplies, snacks, and drinks per department budget.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming in order to ensure safety
• Promotes monthly events and activities in order to increase participation and revenue
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget

Position Requirements

• 1 year of related experience
• First Aid Required within the first 60 days of hire
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED required within the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to tolerate loud noises
• Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.25 and pays up to $21.50, based on experience and qualifications.
