Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Events Team Member in Reston to guide children through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, crafts, and gym games with an emphasis on safety and education.

The role involves leading groups of up to 10 kids ages 3–13, delivering nutrition-themed activities, and modeling positive behavior for participants and guests. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience.
• First Aid within the first 60 days of hire.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within the first 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands and arms; climb ladders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities with safety in mind.

• Demonstrates courtesy, service, cooperation and professionalism to customers.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming in order to ensure safety
• Promotes monthly events and activities in order to increase participation and revenue
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the amount prearranged by the department budget

Position Requirements

• 1 year of related experience

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $14.00 and pays up to $17.50, based on experience and qualifications.
