Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness programs to students in PreK-12. You’ll follow provided lesson plans, work with curriculum, and collaborate with a Program Success Manager at the West Hempstead site.

Ideal candidates have an AA degree or higher, 2+ years teaching experience, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation. This is a part-time, on-site position with training provided.

Qualifications

• AA Degree (or higher) required or preferred.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing experience preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience helpful.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, in-person instruction across STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness.
• Prepare for instruction using provided lesson plans, curriculum, and materials.
• Teach students in grades PreK-12 as assigned; report to Program Success Manager.
• Engage with families and participate in program activities and showcases.
• Maintain on-time attendance and adhere to site expectations.
