Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver engaging educational and fitness-minded activities for children from three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. The role includes hosting events, maintaining safety, and supporting parents during activities.

The instructor will guide cognitive and physical development, manage class setup, and collaborate with the team to ensure a fun, safe environment for all participants.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification and Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• Experience teaching children ages 3-11 is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Instructs and leads activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepares materials and sets up for class and assists with transfers of children to and from programming.
• Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
• Maintains a safe environment and uses positive behavior management.
• Promotes Junior programming to increase participation.
• Restocks supplies and cleans program areas as per checklist.
• Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
