Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. The role includes hosting events and parties as needed, while maintaining a safe, engaging environment.

You will lead activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth, coordinate class setup, and track attendance and incidents. Strong communication with parents and team members is essential for success.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification and CPR/AED required within 60 days.
• 6+ months of teaching children ages 3–11.
• Ability to engage a group of children.
• Customer service and strong communication skills.
• High school diploma not required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instructs activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepares and sets up for class and assists with transfers.
• Maintains attendance and incident records.
• Ensures a safe, healthy environment for kids and equipment.
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents and team.
• Promotes Junior programming and other Kids & Aquatics offerings.
• Maintains the Kids Academy areas and cleans as per checklist.
• Handles incidents calmly and professionally.
