Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years old in the Kids Academy. You will organize, instruct and implement safe, fun activities and may host parties and events.

The role requires interacting with members, maintaining records, and promoting junior programming while ensuring a positive, engaging environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR/AED certifications must be completed within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand required learnings prior to first day of work.
• Ability to engage and manage groups of children aged 3 months to 11 years.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instruct and supervise activities to support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepare and set up for classes and transfer children to and from programming.
• Maintain attendance, development, and incident records.
• Monitor safety and ensure a healthy, safe environment around toys and equipment.
• Use positive behavior management techniques and communicate with parents and team.
• Promote junior programming and related events.
• Keep the Kids Academy clean and restock supplies after each class.
• Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
