The Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) seeks a Driver License Technician Trainee to join the Driver License section in Aurora. You will learn to ensure compliance with Colorado statutes and Department policies while processing licenses and identification documents for applicants.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
• College coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, IT, or related field may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers as the primary point of contact.
• Explain needs and eligibility to customers and ensure compliance.
• Assess documents for authenticity and eligibility.
• Process driver license and ID documents and hearing requests.
• Administer tests and grade examinations for licenses and permits.
• Qualify applicants for a driver's license and ID card.
• Verify documentation against available data.
• Manage cash handling and receipts.
