Job summary

The Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) seeks an experienced Driver License Office Manager to lead a Driver License Office team at Glenwood Springs. You will supervise staff, manage performance plans, and ensure compliance with state reporting requirements.

The role requires five years of public-facing supervisory experience, plus education in management or related fields. Travel between offices may be required and DLF certification is a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience in a public-facing customer service Supervisory or Managerial role that includes staff supervision and performance management.
• Document this experience in your application IN DETAIL, as your experience will not be inferred or assumed.
• Experience in a regulatory environment or technical customer service workplace serving the general public is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the Driver License Office (DLO), ensuring compliance and proper reporting to leadership.
• Develops New Performance Plan yearly evaluations; as well as quarterly; mid year; and final employee performance evaluations.
• Adjust resources and personnel for maximum effectiveness.
• Handles and resolves customer complaints; processes complicated, or more difficult applications.
• Operates as the floor lead, relieving employees for breaks and monitors work flow.
• May travel to another DLO to assist with daily operations.
