Job summary

Family Dollar in Indiana is seeking a Part-time associate to greet customers, help with merchandise selection, and complete sales with accuracy at the POS. You will assist in stocking, deliveries, and store operations while supporting the Store Manager as needed.

The role requires flexibility for days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with opportunities to grow responsibilities in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, grocery, or drug store experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (55 lbs occasionally) and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection and location.
• Handles transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and stocking shelves.
• Support store operations and assist Store Manager as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and provide customer service excellence.
