Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC in Pottsboro, Texas is seeking a Part-time Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find merchandise, and process transactions at the POS. You will assist with stocking, inventory, deliveries, and opening/closing duties, supporting the Store Manager and maintaining store appearance.

The role requires flexible schedule, physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Retail management preferred.
• Availability: flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical: able to lift up to 40 lbs and frequent walking.
• Customer service and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection and complete sales at the POS.
• Support store operations, inventory, deliveries and replenishment.
• Open or close store in absence of managers and oversee store conditions.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and accurate cash handling.
• Assist Store Manager and store team with daily activities and training.
