Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC in Leland, MS is seeking a part-time Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate merchandise, and operate the register. You will stock shelves, assist with deliveries, and keep the store clean and inviting for customers.

You will support the Store Manager with daily tasks, including opening/closing duties when needed, and you should be flexible for weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
• Must be able to read and interpret basic operational directives.
• Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and assisting with merchandise selection and location.
• Processing transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Stocking shelves, unloading deliveries, and maintaining store appearance.
• Assisting Store Manager with daily activities and asset protection.
• Opening or closing store in absence of management when needed.
