Job summary

Family Dollar in Glasgow, KY is seeking a Part-time Third Keyholder to support daily store operations, provide exceptional customer service, and assist with cash handling and merchandise management.

The role requires availability for flexible days and may involve opening or closing duties in the absence of the Store Manager, as well as maintaining inventory levels and assisting with deliveries.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain to others operational directives.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Guides store team members on Family Dollar operating practices and procedures and communicates standards to team.
• Greets customers, assists and thanks customers, answers questions and resolves inquiries and concerns.
• Handles customer and company interests to optimize outcomes.
• Builds basket value through suggestive selling and promoting promotions.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store and positive image with customers and community.
• Assists in unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and moving merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Assists Store Manager with asset protection and security presence.
• In the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager's absence, assists with opening/closing, cashier support, and deposits.
• Completes Position Based Training timely and follows policies.
