Job summary

Family Dollar in Tiptonville, Tennessee seeks a part-time Third Keyholder to support daily store operations, greet customers, assist with merchandise, and handle transactions. You will back the Store Manager, manage inventory, and ensure store appearance and safety.

The role requires flexible scheduling, physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and prior retail experience. Training and policy adherence are emphasized, with opportunities to grow within the store team.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs. (up to 55 lbs. occasionally).
• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection and location; complete sales transactions.
• Assist Store Manager with daily activities and inventory control.
• Unloading merchandise from deliveries; stock shelves and transfer from stockroom to store.
• Provide operational assistance to cashiers and act in absence of Store Manager/ASM.
• Maintain store cleanliness, appearance and overall store conditions.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns; explain policies.
• Support asset protection and maintain a positive image with customers and community.
