Job summary

IT'SUGAR in Austin, Texas, is looking for a dynamic Retail Keyholder, known as a “SUGARTAINER.” You will deliver exceptional customer service while managing various store activities. This role involves operating the POS system, achieving sales goals, and maintaining store standards.

Role Overview

IT SUGAR is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Keyholder to serve as the premier “SUGARTAINER,” delivering exceptional customer service while managing store duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service: assist customers, use the SUGARTAINMENT engagement model, keep the sales floor clean and organized.
• Operate the POS register and complete cash out transactions.
• Achieve sales goals by following up on customer requests, upselling, and explaining product benefits and features.
• Support store operations: maintain cash handling records, conduct opening/closing procedures, merchandise displays according to visual guidelines, assist with special events and promotions, and follow loss‑prevention policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards.
• Represent core values—positivity, playfulness, presence, and being a difference maker—and demonstrate enthusiasm and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Preferably six months in a similar retail role.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with POS/cash register systems.
• Physically able to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs independently or up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
