Fastenal Co. is seeking a Full-time Account Specialist for the Lemont Furnace, PA area. You will lead sales planning for a local territory, support branch key accounts, and work directly with customers to grow and maintain an assigned book of business.

The role emphasizes customer service, high organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with physical duties including lifting up to 75 lbs as needed. A valid driver’s license and local market knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a current full valid driver’s license and meet driving record requirements for company vehicle use.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business/Marketing or related industry experience and knowledge of local market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages 25lbs-50lbs and up to 75lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam only).

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing a sales plan in a local territory to reach and exceed sales goals.
