Job summary

ProPulse®—a Schieffer Company is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to onboard new accounts and maintain relationships with large, existing key accounts in the industrial and hydraulic hose sector.

The role combines technical expertise, consultative selling, and business development to deliver tailored hose solutions, manage account strategy, and support onboarding activities including EDI and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Must understand hose construction, pressure ratings and industry standards.
• Experience in onboarding new accounts and managing key accounts.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with EDI and forecasting facilitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the sales process for new and existing accounts.
• Quote, order, back-order, RMA processing, and forecasting tasks.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts.
• Maintain account management reporting via corporate CRM.
• Collaborate with engineering and materials teams on customer proposals.
• Understand hose specifications, prints, pressure/temperature ratings, and application requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hydraulic hose assemblies and related components.
• Adhere to SAE, ISO, and EN industry standards.
