Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a dedicated CSR to act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts, managing weekly orders and ongoing customer interactions. You will collaborate with the Sales Support Manager to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries for Wayne Farms poultry products.

This role requires strong communication, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year sales or customer service experience in poultry or protein sector.
• Experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales support.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new systems and use ERP software.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling information.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into system in a timely manner and follow up on orders missing delivery dates.
• Move orders to next day and communicate held over or late trucks to customers.
• Facilitate resolution of credit issues and invoice deductions.
• Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers.
• Enter customer complaints into Jira QA System.
• Enter credit requests – BPR.
• Act as liaison between customers, CS Manager, Account Managers, Sales Managers and logistics.
• Make broad sales decisions within scope, often without senior direction.
• Maintain customer focus and satisfaction across the customer base.
• Monitor and analyze sales and freezer reports.
• Provide recommendations and engage in additional duties as assigned.
• Backup Customer Service Manager; participate in plant meetings.
• Manage customer forecasts and production-related tracking documents.
