Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency delivering paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Key Account Manager you own an established book of recurring agency clients. Our sales team wins new clients; you keep them and grow them.

You will retain relationships and renewals, upsell strategically, and drive seven-figure yearly quota while collaborating with strategists and delivery teams to maintain one clear client voice.

• Agency account management experience is required.
• Proven ability to retain clients and upsell with measurable results.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Retain and manage your book of agency clients and ensure renewals.
• Identify and close upsell opportunities within each client account.
• Meet and contribute to a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Collaborate with strategists and delivery teams to present a single voice to clients.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency running paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Key Account Manager you own an established book of recurring agency clients. Our sales team wins new clients; you keep them and grow them.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
