Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency serving marketing-led brands with paid media, SEO, CRO and web services. As Account Manager, you own an established book of recurring agency clients. Our sales team wins new clients; you keep them and grow them.

You will retain, upsell, and expand within your client book, aiming at a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells, while working with strategists and delivery to ensure one clear voice for every client.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience required.
• Track record of keeping clients and selling additional work.
• Ability to carry a quota and hit deadlines.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

About The Role

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
