Job Summary

As a KSS Key Account Manager - Bay Area, your primary responsibilities include increasing assortment, developing, and closing new qualified customers mainly in the San Francisco Bay Area. The ideal candidate must be highly knowledgeable about our product lines, uphold honesty, integrity, and professionalism, and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Expand KSS portfolio assortment and revenue within major regional accounts.
  • Develop and implement partnerships and programs with assigned clients.
  • Travel to dispensaries to present product portfolios to managers and buyers.
  • Assess customer needs, answer inquiries, and assist with ordering.
  • Build and follow up on sales pipelines.
  • Collaborate with brand partners to secure new placements and enhance brand presence.
  • Achieve individual goals and coordinate with team members to meet collective targets.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients.
  • Manage revenue, distribution targets, and identify growth opportunities within the territory.
  • Extensive travel and driving are essential duties of this role.

What we're looking for...

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in CPG, spirits/wine/beer, or cannabis preferred.
  • Strong commitment to excellence and a competitive spirit.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office; experience with distribution ERP is a plus.
  • Experience managing high-volume calls, emails, and sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enthusiasm for the cannabis industry is a plus.
  • Experience with premium brands and managing 30-50 high-touch accounts is preferred.

Salary ranges from $83,250 to $101,750 annually, plus quarterly bonuses. Compensation considers factors such as experience, skills, location, and internal pay parity.
