Job summary

Walpole-Outdoor is seeking a Key Account Coordinator to provide day-to-day coordination and customer support for assigned key accounts, helping ensure accurate orders, timely communication, effective issue resolution, and a positive customer experience.

The coordinator works closely with Business Development Managers, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other internal teams to coordinate customer needs and ensure commitments are followed through to completion.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in account coordination or similar roles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for assigned key accounts.
• Process and monitor customer orders, pricing, documentation, availability, and delivery requirements.
• Track orders, shipments, deliveries, backorders, requests, and outstanding issues to completion.
• Maintain accurate customer records in CRM, ERP, and other systems.
• Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams regarding status, changes, delays, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Sales, Key Account Managers, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and other teams.
• Support Account Managers with meetings, account reviews, presentations, forecasts, and business updates.
• Coordinate customer requirements including pricing, promotions, invoices, credits, returns, claims, and other account matters.
• Identify potential service issues and opportunities for improvement; elevate appropriately while owning resolution.
• Prepare accurate sales, account, order, and customer reports to support decisions.
• Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
