Job summary

STV seeks a seasoned civil engineering design leader to serve as Kentucky Area Manager for the Transportation Group. You will drive growth, diversify markets, mentor an existing team, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners across the state.

In this high-visibility role you’ll shape strategy, oversee project delivery spanning roadways, bridges, planning, and geotechnical services, and ensure STV remains a leading, community-focused firm in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional registration in Kentucky; reciprocity helps.
• 20+ years of relevant experience with leadership in operations and delivery.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams.
• Market specialization in Transportation and Roadway Projects.
• Willingness to sign & seal.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize the business and make operational decisions to achieve outcomes.
• Develop client relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Lead a growing team of Architects and Engineers.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop talent.
• Oversee local operations, project selection, and resource planning.
• Ensure adherence to STV policies.
