Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive Kaizen activities across the Des Moines plant and build a world-class Lean manufacturing culture. You will train staff, lead events, track sustainment, and push waste reduction with visual management and 5S.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Lean personnel, leading P&R sessions, and coordinating safety initiatives to stabilize improvements and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience is required.
• Lean tools experience is required and Kaizen leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate Kaizen activities, including planning and execution of events.
• Lead or participate as facilitator or team member on Kaizen events.
• Monitor 30/90 day sustainment and report improvements.
• Train employees in Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Promote Kaizen activities across the plant and reduce waste.
• Lead Planning and Review sessions and Kaizen Steering Committee meetings.
