Job summary

KIPP MA is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to serve KIPP Academy Boston students across elementary and middle school. The role emphasizes progress toward IEP goals, cultural competency, and collaboration with general and special education staff.

The position offers a school-year calendar, a signing bonus of $1,000, and annual retention bonuses; part-time compensation is pro-rated with the start date of Aug 7, 2026.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in OT is required for OT applicants.
• OTA applicants must have an Associate’s degree.
• Experience with IEPs and federal MA education laws is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create occupational therapy session plans.
• Report on quarterly progress for students with IEPs.
• Take data during occupational therapy sessions.
• Run individual and small-group occupational therapy sessions.
• Support self-care skills in conjunction with OT goals.
• Consult for students in general and special education settings.
• Complete student evaluations for OT (if OT).
