Qualifications

• OT candidates must have a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• OTA candidates must have an Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• MA license from the Board of Allied Health or license as an OTA.
• Certification by NBCOT is required.
• Experience as a school-based OT and knowledge of IEPs are preferred.
• Familiarity with Google Suite and tech used for data collection.

Responsibilities

• Create OT session plans across elementary and middle school grades
• Report quarterly progress for students with IEPs
• Take data during OT sessions
• Run individual and small-group OT sessions
• Support self-care skills in conjunction with OT goals
• Consult for students in general and special education settings
• Complete student evaluations if OT
