Job summary

KIPP Massachusetts Public Charter Schools is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant to support elementary and middle school students across general and special education settings. The role emphasizes progress toward IEP goals, data collection, and collaboration with families and school staff.

The ideal candidate will pursue social justice with cultural competency, maintain high professional standards, and participate in ongoing professional development within a KIPP

Qualifications

• Masters in Occupational Therapy required for OT track.
• Association/License requirements in MA for OT/OTA roles.
• Experience with IEPs, 504s, and MA education laws is preferred.
• Criminal background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Create occupational therapy session plans.
• Report on quarterly progress for students with IEPs.
• Take data during sessions and adjust plans.
• Lead individual and small-group OT sessions.
• Support self-care skills aligned with OT goals.
• Consult with students in general and special education.
• Complete student evaluations where appropriate.
