Job summary

IDEA Public Schools seeks a dedicated Special Education RISE teacher to serve students with diverse disabilities. You will implement IEPs, adapt instruction, and coordinate related services to drive growth and postsecondary readiness.

We prioritize family engagement, data-driven planning, and collaboration with school teams to sustain a strong, inclusive learning culture for all scholars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution (required).
• Experience in a Special Education classroom with significant disabilities (strongly preferred).
• Valid Texas state certification in Special Education (required).
• Appropriate grade/content certification(s) or Texas Core Content Competency Worksheet (required).

Responsibilities

• Adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs.
• Develop IEPs for a caseload and monitor progress.
• Coordinate related services for students on caseload.
• Implement standards and district curricula with high expectations.
• Communicate progress with families weekly.
