IDEA Public Schools seeks a Special Education RISE teacher to deliver instruction in Reading, Writing, Math, History, and Adaptive PE to students with diverse disabilities. You will develop IEPs, monitor progress, and maintain strong family engagement.

The role includes collaboration with teams, implementing state standards, and participating in weekly meetings to support student growth and college readiness.

Competenze

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution (required).
• Experience: Special Education classroom experience with significant disabilities preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas state certification in Special Education; core certification(s) required.

Mansioni

• Develop IEPs for a caseload of students and implement them.
• Adapt lessons to meet diverse needs and monitor progress.
• Coordinate related services for students on caseload.
• Record data and communicate progress to families weekly.
• Lead ARD meetings and maintain campus-wide behavior initiatives.
