Great Hearts Academies in San Antonio, TX seeks a Reading/Dyslexia Interventionist to provide intensive, multi-sensory reading support and data-driven instruction. You will collaborate with teachers, attend 504 meetings, and deliver targeted interventions for students identified as at risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Reading, Literacy, Education, or related field.
• Valid Texas teaching certification in Reading, Literacy, or related area preferred.
• Master Reading Certification preferred.
• Experience delivering Dyslexia interventions (Reading By Design, MTA, or similar) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Teaches students with dyslexia and reading challenges using multi-sensory, phonetic methods.
• Monitors progress, maintains confidential records, and communicates with parents and staff.
• Attends Section 504 meetings as the dyslexia representative and supports assessments.
• Delivers small group or 1:1 instruction to reduce learning gaps.
• Plans intervention, designs progress monitoring, and guides classroom teachers.
