Job summary

Great Hearts Academies is seeking a Reading/Dyslexia Interventionist at the Live Oak Lower School to support students with dyslexia and reading difficulties. The role emphasizes data-driven planning, individualized instruction, and collaboration with families and staff.

The candidate will conduct 1:1 or small-group interventions, maintain confidential progress records, and participate in Section 504 processes as needed to support student achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Reading, Literacy, Education, or related field.
• Texas teaching certification in Reading/Literacy preferred.
• Master Reading Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use data to identify students needing support and group accordingly.
• Design and monitor intervention plans to close learning gaps.
• Maintain records of student progress and confidentiality.
• Communicate progress with families and school community.
• Consult with teachers to tailor intervention strategies.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group instruction and participate in trainings.
