Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools is seeking a Teacher Instructional Support professional for K–5 at Dyer Elementary in Dacula, GA. The role focuses on coaching teachers to implement AKS, assessments, and evidence-based instructional frameworks.

Responsibilities include data-driven planning, collaborative learning team facilitation, and ongoing professional learning aligned with LSPI to improve student achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in applicable field of education required by PSC; Master's preferred.
• Hold professional certification in content field coaching; coaching endorsement required by PSC.
• 5 years of teaching experience with strong evaluations; data-driven instructional leadership.
• Proven ability to use student data to guide instructional decisions; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Model coaching using QPTS and instructional frameworks in classrooms.
• Convene coaching sessions with teachers and schedule coaching cycles.
• Support AKS understanding, aligned assessments, and data-informed instruction.
• Build strong relationships with teachers, admins, and instructional staff.
• Assist teachers with planning, pacing, and differentiation to meet student needs.
• Observe teachers (non-evaluative) and provide feedback to promote growth.
• Lead professional learning aligned with LSPI and school improvement plans.
• Document coaching activities and participate in summer training and leadership meetings.
