Great Hearts Academies in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a K-5 Elementary Teacher to join Archway Scottsdale Classical Academy. As a Homeroom Teacher you will create a welcoming classroom and guide students in wonder and a love of learning using Spalding Phonics and Singapore Mathematics.

You will work with an Assistant/Apprentice Teacher, monitor progress, communicate with families, and participate in academy life. A Bachelor's degree is required; certification is not required for general education.

• US work authorization is required, OPT/CPT accepted

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes using the Great Hearts curriculum and materials, preparing thoughtful lessons and cultivating an orderly, joyful classroom.
• Provide appropriate academic support to students, monitor progress, and partner with school leadership to address academic or behavioral needs in a timely manner.
• Uphold and model the culture, policies, and expectations of Great Hearts, including dress code, conduct, and safety procedures, contributing to a respectful and orderly school environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families, initiating conferences as needed and fostering strong home-school partnerships.
• Participate fully in the life of the academy through faculty collaboration, school events, assigned duties, and a shared commitment to ongoing professional growth and excellence in teaching.
