Job summary

Girls Inc Miami seeks an After-School Literacy Teacher to deliver differentiated literacy instruction for K-5 students using ORF and MAZE data. You will monitor progress, implement targeted interventions, and maintain detailed records in Trust Central.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Education or Literacy, with DLI knowledge and experience in administering ORF/MAZE assessments. This role offers after-school hours at local schools in Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Literacy, or related field; RED course(s) encouraged.
• Florida teaching certification preferred; elementary experience valued.
• Experience with literacy instruction and data-driven interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated literacy instruction to K-5 students based on assessments.
• Administer ORF and MAZE assessments and analyze results to inform practice.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment and manage behavior.
• Document progress and communicate with staff, parents, and guardians.
• Complete mandatory trainings in DLI, ORF, and MAZE.
