Job summary

Lake Ridge Schools (Inc) in Florida seeks an Elementary Literacy Interventionist to accelerate student literacy through high-quality instruction and MTSS/RTI-based interventions. You will work with classroom teachers to embed robust literacy strategies and provide targeted Tier 2 and 3 supports within a collaborative MTSS framework.

The role emphasizes co-teaching with teachers, data-driven decision making, and adult learning to grow classroom practice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education required.
Master's degree with five years of teaching experience preferred.
Literacy Endorsement preferred; strong knowledge of Tier 2/3 literacy & RtI/MTSS.
State of IN Teacher license.

Responsibilities

Refine teachers' knowledge and skills through modeling, co-teaching, observation, and in-class coaching.
Plan and monitor literacy interventions using data-based decision-making.
Collaborate to improve literacy instruction in inquiry-driven, project-based environments.
Conduct needs analyses with leadership to identify literacy gaps and opportunities.
Facilitate training in effective instruction, differentiation, and data-driven instruction.
Assist teachers in using data to group students for targeted instruction.
Cultivate an equitable environment with trauma-sensitive, culturally competent practices.
Participate in school and district programs; contribute to a positive faculty culture.
