Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay is seeking a part-time 21st Century Teacher for after-school literacy and learning activities. You will deliver programs aligned with Florida standards and monitor student progress.

Requirements include a BA/BS in education, strong communication, and collaboration with schools. IXL experience and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus; some travel between Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas facilities may be needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree from an accredited four-year university in education.
• Familiar with Florida State standards and assessments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners and schools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with IXL is a plus; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Training in Social/Emotional Learning or Trauma-Informed Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of 21st Century Learning Center services focusing on tutoring, literacy development, and academics.
• Plan and implement education programs aligned with Florida standards.
• Monitor tutoring sessions to match Student Learning Plans and policy fidelity.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for educational programs.
