Job summary

United Community Center is seeking an experienced Instructional Coach to strengthen instructional practices across classrooms. You will model effective strategies, support teachers through co-planning and co-teaching, and provide actionable feedback to promote student achievement.

You will lead professional development, align curriculum and assessments, and collaborate with administrators to foster reflective practice and continuous improvement in a culturally diverse urban school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Experience coaching teachers and working with diverse student populations preferred.
• Knowledge of CCSS, MTSS/Data-Driven Instruction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Model effective instructional techniques and data-driven instruction in PD sessions and in classrooms.
• Support teachers through co-planning, co-teaching, and feedback to improve student achievement.
• Lead professional development and assist with curriculum alignment and assessment planning.
• Collaborate with administrators and other coaches to foster reflective practice and professional growth.
• Monitor progress and use data to drive instruction and improve outcomes.
