Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred and 5+ years in education
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Endorsement in English/Language Arts/Math strongly preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience in urban school environments preferred
• Ability to collaborate with administrators, staff, students, parents, and community partners

Responsibilities

• Serve as an instructional coach for a content area with 8–12 teachers
• Use Danielson Framework as a guide for teacher growth
• Lead data cycles and plan professional development
• Plan and lead professional development in response to coaching cycles
• Support leadership with preparation for state assessments
• Engage in and lead professional development activities
• Other duties as assigned
