Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, or 48 credit hours, or pass WorkKeys/96 hours in-service training, or NC DOL Apprenticeship, or NC ATA PD plan.
• Associate's Degree with a concentration in Education.
• 2+ years working with elementary age children.

Responsibilities

• Assist children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, yards, or on field trips.
• Enforce school policies and rules governing students.
• Coordinate duties with classroom teachers to support instructional efforts.
• Instructs and monitors students in use and care of equipment and materials.
• Observe and record students' progress.
